Finding Flow
A Virtual Retreat for Creative Educators
Reconnect with your creativity, replenish your energy, and step into the school year feeling grounded, inspired, and whole.
This Retreat Is for You If…
You’re a teacher, an artist, a nurturer, a maker —
someone who pours everything into your classroom and your craft, and lately, it feels like there’s nothing left for you
✺ You miss feeling lit up by your own creativity
✺ You’re exhausted before the school year even begins
✺ You often find yourself going through the motions, overwhelmed by never-ending to-do lists
✺ Your nervous system feels like it’s been on high alert for too long
✺ You crave space — to breathe, to reflect, to reconnect
If you’re nodding along, Finding Flow was created for you.
Imagine Starting the School Year…
✨ Rooted in your values
✨ In touch with your creativity
✨ With a full cup — and tools to keep it that way

This isn’t just another professional development course.
This is a soulful reset and a gentle return to yourself. In these challenging times, it’s more important than ever to practice holistic self-care so that we can teach from a place of alignment, not depletion.

About Your Guide:
Hello! I’m Lucy
artist, educator, and creative wellness coach.
With over 13 years of experience teaching art, I understand the unique pressures educators and creatives face — because I’ve lived them.
My own experiences with overwhelm and burnout sent me on a path of healing— one that led me to become a certified Yoga and Ayurveda instructor, Somatic Anxiety Coach, and Therapeutic Art Facilitator.
Now, I help fellow educators and creatives who feel stretched thin and disconnected find their way back to center — using a blend of mindful reflection, nervous system support, and of course, art.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, uninspired, or just plain exhausted, I get it — I’ve been there. And I’m here to help you reconnect with yourself, your creativity, and your calm, with tools that are practical, grounding, and a little bit magical.
Let’s make space for joy again. You don’t have to do it alone!

Not at all. Finding Flow is for any educator who identifies as creative — or who wants to reconnect with that part of themselves. Whether you teach science, drama, kindergarten, or ceramics, this retreat is about you — your energy, your creativity, your well-being.

No worries at all. The Zoom call on Thursday, August 14th (time TBD, I will take a poll closer to the date to find a time that works best for most of the participants) will be recorded and shared in the course portal and Facebook group. You’ll still receive the same reflection prompts and connection opportunities — and you’re always welcome to engage in the Facebook group for ongoing support.
-
Each week includes an intro video and a handful of self-paced activities you can move through in 1–2 hours total — or spread out gently over a few days. We all work at different paces and the timing can vary depending on how involved you want to be with the written reflections and art activities! This retreat is intentionally designed to feel spacious, not like another task on your to-do list.
-
That’s exactly what Finding Flow is here for. The course is built with your nervous system in mind — short, grounding practices, gentle prompts, and restorative exercises that don’t require extra effort. You don’t have to push through this — this is the place where you pause.

It’s a bit of both — but definitely leans toward personal retreat. While many participants find it deeply relevant to their professional life, Finding Flow centers on your well-being, creativity, and inner clarity. You won’t get CEUs or certificates here — but you will leave with something far more valuable: your energy, your creativity, and your self-trust restored.
-
You probably already have everything you need : just a journal or notebook, some drawing tools (pen, pencil, markers—whatever you have on hand), any other art supplies you enjoy creating with, and a willingness to explore. No specific fancy art materials or prior experience needed. All activities are low-pressure and designed to be accessible and nourishing.
-
No, Finding Flow is not a substitute for therapy. It’s a wellness retreat that blends creative exploration with somatic and reflective tools to support your energy and inner world. It’s a supportive complement to other wellness work — and many participants find it to be deeply therapeutic in nature, even if it’s not therapy itself.
